DIRECTIONS
Creating a Precise Line: With the tip of the pencil as close to the upper lash line as possible, begin at the inner rim of the eye. In one fluid motion, follow the curvature of the eyelashes until the line reaches the outer lashes. For the bottom lash line, either forgo eyeliner for a natural look or line with a slightly lighter shade than the top lashes.
Creating Soft Smokey Eyes: After applying an eye design, follow the directions above for "Creating a Precise Line." Then using the smudger tool, gently rub across the lashline, softening the line. With a blending brush, go over the lash line with your Cleo New York™ Eye Shadow of choice and blend slightly upwards creating a soft halo around the lashline. For an evening look, these steps can be repeated on the lower lash line as well, smudging the line and using the Eye Shadow very lightly to create the same effect.
A note about proportion: Without any eye makeup on, take a look at your eyelids in the mirror. Do they not show at all, or are they quite visible. This rule of thumb, will determine how think you'll want to make your line. Those with smaller eyelids look best with thinner lines, while those with more eyelid showing can sport a thicker line.
